Mihika´s Team for NATTA Election Announced

16 Jan, 2016, Kathmandu:  With the slogan of “New Generation with Creative Ideas & Clear Vision for Upliftment of Tourism” for the new leadership of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents’ (NATTA) through the election Mihika Rajya Laxmi Shah (Dhakhwa) announced canddacy of her team Saturday evening.

Presenting her concept paper at the ceremony Dhakwa highlighted on the burning issues to be adrressed instantly in the field of travel and tourism.

She added not only for the post but because of making a meaningful effort to  uplift Nepalese tourism intellectually, nationally and iternationally the candidacy is announced against the traditional slow path of tourism development.

In the pannel of Dhakwa, for the post of 1st Vice president Kedarnath Dawadi is in conpetition while for the post of 2nd Vice President Sunil Sharma is candidate.

Similarly, Secretary general Thakur Prasad Dhungana, secretary Kamal Gurung, treasurer Tilak Thapa Magar, Joint treasurer Phudoma Sherpa are in list of new leadership to be elected.

For the new executive committe, candidates foe executive member are respectively Suresh Amgain, Amrit Kumar Dhakal, Binod Karki, Govinda Dahal, Suresh K C, Surendra Bhattarai, Yagya Murti Acharya and Anik Kumar Thapa are issuing their candidacy.

The program of election for new leadership of NATTA is scheduled for today at hotel Yak nd Yeti.

Senior journalist and tourism expert Ashok Silwal talking to this newsline said that NATTA has developed its own democratic culture for electing the new leadership.

Silwal also added that several serious issues are infront of new leadeship to face in near future that’s why it has to be more competetive with courage and conviction.
